Making treats for your dog isn’t as straightforward as going to the pet store and buying kibble, but it IS a lot more fun.
Today, we bring you a quick donut recipe for dogs made with easily available ingredients in your kitchen. They’re simple to prepare, and your pup will love them!
This recipe proved to be the quickest home-made dog treat recipe. Let’s get started with the recipe of homemade delicious dog donuts.
Homemade Dog Donut Treats
Luckily, there aren’t many ingredients needed for making dog donuts and you probably already have most of them.
Ingredients:
1 Cup of Flour
1 Cup of Oats
¼ Cup Coconut Oil
Peanut Butter
2 to 3 Eggs
Topping ingredients:
Greek Yogurt
Bacon Bits
Bananas
Procedure:
Now, preheat the oven for 375 degrees. Then spray a donut pan with cooking spray. And put aside.
Take a large bowl and put all the ingredients (except topping ingredients) in it. Mix all ingredients with a spoon or you can use your hands too. Thoroughly mix until a dough is formed.
Now, take the dough and press it in the donut pan with your hands. Fill it in each cavity and press gently in the pan.
Put the pan in the preheated oven and bake for around 14-15 minutes or until cooked properly. Leave it till it cools.
After it cools down, take the donuts out from the pan. It’s time to decorate or garnish the donuts.
For frosting take Greek yogurt and creamy peanut butter in a bowl. Mix them well and dip the donuts in it from both sides.
Garnish them with some bacon bits and bananas. Place it in the freezer to stiffen it.
Finally, the delicious and yummy dog donut treats are ready to serve.
